This picture of Little Girl MeowMeow was taken on June 25, 2021. That was two days before she was lost. She had been a traveling cat for over four years--her entire life. (She's five and a half years old now.)
MeowMeow is spayed, but unfortunately, at the time she was lost, she was not chipped. She may be chipped now, if she was rescued.
She was not wearing her harness on that day.
This highlighted map shows our entire route on the day she jumped out of our truck. The first stop is the last place I was certain I saw MeowMeow. The last stop is the place we realized she was not with us.
This is all in Wyoming, beginning at the Sherman Summit Rest Area, on to Cheyenne, then back out to the Vedauwoo campgrounds near the rest area.
This was just a quick stop to use the restroom and get a drink. I needed to pick up my husband in Cheyenne and we needed to come back out to this area to find a campground before dark.
It ended up being the last place I know for certain that Little Girl MeowMeow was with me.
I tried to remember if I saw MeowMeow on my drive to Cheyenne, but I really can't picture her at all on that drive.
I texted Derick a few times, even though I shouldn't have, to keep him updated on my ETA.
We were so worried about the time we would have left to get back out to Vedauwoo before dark.
We weren't planning on staying in Wyoming, but Derick's dad was making a trip to California in a couple of weeks to see his sister, who was suffering with terminal cancer.
Derick had never met her, so we were going to make the trip with him. We planned to camp in the Vedauwoo area until it was time to go.
These are all the stops that we made.
The dream for us is to live the life we want, while helping all of our family and friends to also live the lives they want.
It's not much we're asking, as Queen might say. We want it all. And we want it now. And this is how we're doing it.
Derick sent me this app. You earn real cash rent on virtual property. The first thing I thought about, of course, was how I could use it to get more people to know about MeowMeow.
I used her picture as my profile pic and I used byclc_dot_com as my username.
She was last seen on June 27, 2021 at the Sherman Summit
Rest Area on I-80 in Wyoming.
We believe she was picked up by
someone and taken home with them.
She could be anywhere. Please look for her.
I put a lot of love into this video. I miss MeowMeow so much. You can see the tiktok version here: See You Again. Please share it.
Our Little Girl could be living in the house right next door to you. Please keep an eye out for her.
