I'm working on this every day.
Between approximately 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., MeowMeow jumped out of our truck at one of several stops that were made.
Flyers were made, locations were searched, miles were walked while calling her name, shelters were contacted, doors were knocked on, I began posting tiktoks about her. We camped near the spot we were thinking was the most likely place she got out.
What was supposed to be a week long trip to the west coast to see a dying aunt turned into a three and a half week nightmare. My husband and I split up. I came back alone to look for MeowMeow.
Posters and more flyers were made, tips were followed up on. Funds were raised for a team of search dogs.
Deborah Cooke and her dog came to search all the areas. They found MeowMeow's scent at the first place they looked--the rest area. I had mixed feelings about this.
I posted my final video on TikTok. My stats show that most people watch only long enough to like them, maybe copy link and move on. It tears me up each time I create one and not many stick around to the end or share the videos to new people. There's really no point to it anymore.
A cat that looks a lot like MeowMeow was photographed in California. Several people are trying to get better photos.
I'm deleting links to MeowMeow's reward pledge form and to the by CLC message boards. People are loading both of these down with spam and I can't keep up with cleaning them up.
The dream for us is to live the life we want, while helping all of our family and friends to also live the lives they want.
It's not much we're asking, as Queen might say. We want it all. And we want it now. And this is how we're doing it.
Derick sent me this app. You earn real cash rent on virtual property. The first thing I thought about, of course, was how I could use it to get more people to know about MeowMeow.
I used her picture as my profile pic and I used byclc_dot_com as my username.
She was last seen on June 27, 2021 at the Sherman Summit
Rest Area on I-80 in Wyoming.
We believe she was picked up by
someone and taken home with them.
She could be anywhere. Please look for her.
I put a lot of love into this video. I miss MeowMeow so much. You can see the tiktok version here: See You Again. Please share it.
Our Little Girl could be living in the house right next door to you. Please keep an eye out for her.
