I was staying at DeGray Lake and Arkadelphia was a little closer to me than Hot Springs and they were paying an extra $3 per delivery, so I scheduled a dash here.

I could barely believe what I saw when I got there. Emptiness everywhere. It was like a ghost town. It was deserted even around the freeway and the businesses. An extra $3 a delivery was not going to be enough.

I left here and went to Hot Springs, where even though I was late for the beginning of the rush, I was able to make up for the wasted trip to Arkadelphia.

On my way out, headed to Texas, I gave Arkadelphia one more shot. There were more people, and still a +3 delivery bonus, but no orders.

I made a lot of money here. Would I have made more, and made it faster, if it were not Memorial Day weekend? Probably.

The restaurants were so busy that they could not get the to-go orders out fast enough. The wait was ten to twenty minutes for nearly every one of my pick-ups. I canceled one that was going to be at least an hour wait.

Downtown was packed, and extremely difficult to find parking, even with the tons of free parking they offer.

There were a lot of seven to ten dollar residential orders.

The driving was really enjoyable, especially with all the hills, but sometimes there was steep parking that would get a little scary.

DoorDash is getting quite a bit of competition from Bite Squad here.
