What could be better than finding a hidden treasure chest, filled to the brim with goodies? Maybe finding two of them? Or how about three?
Well, Jon Collins-Black has actually hidden five treasure chests for us to find, and he's written a book about them to help us do it. 'There's Treasure Inside' promises to hold clues to get you close to where the five treasure chests are hidden.
My husband purchased Jon's book months ago, but we've been without reliable transportation and haven't been able to go searching just yet. When we eventually put "boots on the ground", we will keep you updated below. What we have done so far is read the book and try to figure out some of the clues.
Part two of the book devotes one chapter to each of four chests. Clues for the fifth chest, which is the largest of the five chests, are supposed to be found in the chapters of part one of the book.
The five treasure boxes were created by metalsmith Seth Gould. They are absolutely gorgeous.
The five treasure chests are hidden in different states across the United States. Jon Collins-Black hoped to give everyone a chance to have a chest close enough to where they are that they would be able to experience the adventure of hunting for it.
Each of the boxes has a unique puzzle solve that promises to get you close to its location.
The Forrest Fenn box is the first to be listed in part two of the book. The hints for this chest are contained within a poem, much like the poem Forrest Fenn wrote for us to find his hidden treasure chest. Find and follow the clues in the poem to solve for the general location of this box.
The Pokémon box comes next and clues for its whereabouts are written in a story, with one picture to possibly help.
Next is the Past and Future box. The chapter for this chest includes a word search that, when solved, promises to give you plenty of what you need to find the box. A cryptogram is also included for a little extra help.
The Appalachian Footpath box is the final box in part two of the book. The author has created a map for us to find this treasure chest. Honestly, I like this one best and will probably devote some time to trying to figure out the clues in this map.
I think the Appalachian box and the Pokémon box are probably going to be the first ones to be found. It just seems like the clues for those two will be easier to find. One has an actual map to follow and the other needs only someone who knows a lot about Pokémon.
Each one of the chests is supposed to have a special clue in it to help solve the location of the "Lion's Share" box. It's possible that finding any one of these boxes could lead to finding the big one.
A lot of people are already hunting for the chests. There's a lot of information online, including some personal solves. Hopefully, one or two of these chests will wait for us to find them. As I said before, I'll keep you updated below on our progress.
The dream for us is to live the life we want, while helping all of our family and friends to also live the lives they want.
It's not much we're asking, as Queen might say. We want it all. And we want it now. And this is how we're doing it.
Derick sent me this app. You earn real cash rent on virtual property. The first thing I thought about, of course, was how I could use it to get more people to know about MeowMeow.
I used her picture as my profile pic and I used byclc_dot_com as my username.
She was last seen on June 27, 2021 at the Sherman Summit
Rest Area on I-80 in Wyoming.
We believe she was picked up by
someone and taken home with them.
She could be anywhere. Please look for her.
I put a lot of love into this video. I miss MeowMeow so much. You can see the tiktok version here: See You Again. Please share it.
Our Little Girl could be living in the house right next door to you. Please keep an eye out for her.
